IGO Medical Group is pleased to announce that Amita Jain, M.D. will be joining our practice in August 2010. Dr. Jain is completing her residency in Los Angeles and will be relocating to San Diego this summer. She is from Poway and is looking forward to returning this area. Dr. Jain will be a welcome addition to IGO and will provide care to our patients in both obstetrics and gynecology.

The San Diego County Department of Health has released the H1N1 Vaccine to be given to everyone regardless of risk group status.
The CDC strongly recommends vaccination for the following risk groups:
- Pregnant women.
- People who live with or care for infants younger than 6 months of age.
- Health care personnel.
- Anyone from 18 through 24 years of age (we ask that children under 18 see their pediatrician for vaccination).
- Anyone from 25 through 64 years of age with chronic medical conditions or a weakened immune system.
HiN1 Vaccine is available in our office for any IGO patient or family member of a current patient.
